Description

Delicious and healthy Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters made with fresh strawberries, creamy Greek yogurt, and coated in rich melted chocolate. These frozen treats are perfect for a refreshing snack or dessert that’s both sweet and nutritious.

Ingredients

Scale

Yogurt Mixture

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare Yogurt Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the chopped strawberries, plain Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract thoroughly until well mixed.
  2. Form Clusters: Using a spoon, scoop about 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture per cluster and place each scoop onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet to form roughly 10 clusters.
  3. Freeze Clusters: Place the baking sheet with the yogurt clusters in the freezer and freeze until completely solid, about 2 hours.
  4. Melt Chocolate: Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 15 to 30-second intervals, stirring between each until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  5. Dip Clusters in Chocolate: Remove frozen yogurt clusters from the freezer. Using a spoon, carefully dip each cluster into the melted chocolate to coat thoroughly. Place coated clusters back on the parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Optionally, sprinkle a little sea salt on top for extra flavor.
  6. Chill Again: Return the chocolate-coated clusters to the freezer for a few minutes to let the chocolate harden and the yogurt solidify a bit more.
  7. Serve: Enjoy the clusters straight from the freezer as a refreshing and tasty treat.

Notes

  • Use plain Greek yogurt for a thicker texture and tangy flavor. You can substitute with regular yogurt but it may be softer.
  • Adjust honey amount to your desired sweetness or substitute with maple syrup.
  • If you prefer, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet for a richer taste.
  • Make sure clusters are fully frozen before dipping into chocolate to prevent melting.
  • Adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top enhances the chocolate’s flavor.
  • Store clusters in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
