Instructions
- Prepare the cranberry mixture: In a food processor, add the fresh cranberries, dried cranberries, chopped green onions, and sliced jalapeno. Pulse several times until the mixture is very finely chopped and well combined.
- Soften and mix cream cheese: Transfer the vegan cream cheese to a medium-sized bowl. Using a hand mixer or a spoon, mix the cream cheese until it becomes soft and creamy. Then add the granulated sugar, salt, and unsweetened vegan yogurt or sour cream. Beat well to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
- Combine cranberry and cream cheese mixtures: Add the finely chopped cranberry mixture to the bowl with the cream cheese blend. Mix thoroughly until the dip is uniform in texture and color.
- Serve and store: Serve the dip immediately with crackers or bread for dipping. Store leftovers in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to two days. Stir well before serving again.
Notes
- Philadelphia vegan cream cheese is recommended, but Violife, Miyoko’s, and Tofutti brands also work well.
- Use unsweetened and unflavored vegan yogurt or vegan sour cream to maintain the dip’s balanced flavor profile.
