Description

A refreshing and creamy Lemon Pie Milkshake featuring vanilla ice cream, instant lemon pudding mix, and crushed Golden Oreos, perfectly frosted with vanilla buttercream and topped with whipped cream and a cookie garnish.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Milkshake

  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 3 tablespoons instant lemon pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 Golden Oreos

For the Glass

  • Vanilla buttercream frosting
  • 2 Golden Oreos (crushed)

Topping

  • Whipped cream
  • 1 Golden Oreo

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass: Frost the outside of your serving glass with vanilla buttercream frosting. Then crush 2 Golden Oreos and roll the frosted glass in the crushed cookies to coat evenly.
  2. Blend the Milkshake: In a blender, combine 1 ½ cups of vanilla ice cream, 3 tablespoons of instant lemon pudding mix, and ½ cup of milk. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Serve: Pour the blended milkshake into the prepared glass.
  4. Add Toppings: Top the milkshake generously with whipped cream and garnish with one whole Golden Oreo cookie.

Notes

  • Add a bit of lemon extract to the milkshake for an extra burst of lemon flavor.
  • If you can’t find instant lemon pudding mix, substitute with vanilla pudding mix and add lemon extract to taste.
  • Any kind of milk works, including regular dairy or nondairy alternatives like almond or oat milk.
  • Feel free to swap the vanilla ice cream for any ice cream or frozen yogurt flavor you prefer.
  • Various cookie types work well for coating and garnish; shortbread cookies would be a fantastic alternative to Golden Oreos.
