Instructions
- Prepare Strawberries: Remove stems from strawberries and slice them in half. Freeze half of the berries (8 ounces) to use later in the cocktail.
- Blend Cocktail: Once the berries are frozen, add fresh and frozen strawberries to the jar of a high-speed blender. Pour in rum, simple syrup, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
- Garnish and Serve: Pour the blended daiquiri into glasses and garnish with an extra strawberry and/or lime slice.
- Make Nonalcoholic Version: To make a nonalcoholic daiquiri, omit the rum and replace it with 4 ounces of water before blending.
Notes
- If you don’t want to wait for berries to freeze, use 4 ounces of frozen strawberries and 4 ounces of fresh strawberries.
- You can adjust the amount of rum to your preference; if using less rum, add some water to help the blender process.
- Adjust simple syrup quantity depending on your taste and the sweetness of your strawberries.
- Use any type of rum you prefer, such as white rum, coconut rum, spiced rum, or dark rum for different flavor notes.
